Forgotten Time

We left our home in Pioneer, CA in May this year. I haven’t blogged in a very long time. We have been having fun traveling in the western states, to Yellowstone and Glacer, two of my favorites;  from Idaho down to Texas, and back to California, more than 30 campsites in these last 6 months.  It’s forgotten time, isn’t it? I admire those who keep up with their blogs. Many are doing video blogging, which may be fun to watch. Living in a trailer, I tend to do videos of the places we visit, mostly for my family and post them on Facebook. It’s faster than reading, and people seem to busy theses days to read! Where is our time going? I know I like to sew and when I’m done I have to clean up and put my sewing away so we have a place to eat, but I think writing is also important, seeing places, and sharing my love of sewing. So I will try to be more faithful in this blog and thank you so much for visiting.
We bought a new trailer, or, we are making payments on a lovely new trailer.

We are camping at New Brighton Beach in Capitola, California. I will share pictures next time. Until then I’m happy to be back!

  2. Wow, found your blog by accident and so happy I did. Hubby and I just purchased a 2018 Jayco Hummingbird, quite a bit smaller than yours. It's 16 ft, no slide out, we love it. Retired 5 years ago, restored an old 800 sq ft cabin in the woods now it's time to travel a little. Will keep checking in on your blog, hope to pick up some helpful hints! We're newbies at this and I am just more than a little nervous. Only ever done tent camping. The trailer is small and cozy but enough room for my little Featherweight machine and a little tub of fabric. He's a fly fisher, should allow me some quality stitching time right? Have fun, be safe and hope to read something from you soon. Judy

  3. It is wonderful time. My husband and I lived in our 30 ft. 5th wheel full time for 2 months shy of 5 years, and then he died. I have not only missed him, I've missed the life we were living. We actually bought our Arctic Fox based on room for me to sew and NOT have to pick up. Then we took out the banquette and had a cabinet-making friend put in a breakfast bar with storage underneath. We took out the sofa and put in glider rockers, and had a wonderful, perfect home. LOL Those were definitely the best five years of my life. I hope you are still enjoying your travels and having a wonderful time.
